Testimonials From Those We Have Collaborated With
Humane Society of Carroll County" I worked with Sara exclusively in our memo boards. She was helpful, informative and kept me updated throughout the process. We are very excited about the boards not only as a fundraiser, but as a way to get our organization info into 1000 homes! It will also benefit those who have agreed to sponsor us. Our Spay-Neuter Program is a huge expense and this will help to cover it. Our Thanks to Promoting Spirit for their professionalism and concern. Lorna May Humane Society Of Carrol County |
Humane Society of Tuolumne CountyTo Promoting Sprit Because of your efforts to raise funds to produce the white board on our behalf, we have received several donations adding up to two hundred and fifty dollars. We are anxiety awaiting the final product as we have several individuals and organizations wishing to purchase them. We see this as a innovative way to raise much needed funds with very little effort on our part. We have heard nothing put good things about your staff’s courteousness and their no pressure telemarketing. Thank you for your continued support. Sun Valley Animal ShelterI’ve been the Executive Director for Sun Valley Animal Shelter for 2 ½ years, but I’ve been with the shelter for a total of 6 ½ years, starting out as a volunteer. I never thought I could work for an animal shelter because I believed I’d go home every night being stressed and worried about the homeless cats and dogs. Once I started though, I couldn’t wait to get here on the three days that I volunteered. Sun Valley is a non-profit, private, no-kill animal shelter. Our mission is to provide humane housing, quality food, soft beds, and love to the many homeless cats and dogs that pass through our shelter. We get most of our animals from Animal Control to save them from being euthanized. Sun Valley is the only shelter in the West Valley that adopts out dogs and cats. Our cats are in a colony room, which means they are not caged. They also have a safe secure area to go outdoors and get plenty of sun. Our dogs are in large runs, either inside or in the outdoor/indoor runs. There are nine yards for our many volunteers to take the dogs so they can run around and play ball. Our turnover is fast, and that is what makes working here so satisfying. Seeing the companion pets go into loving homes brings joy and smiles to all of our faces! Plus, it allows us to bring in more animals and keep them from being euthanized. Promoting Spirit contacted me to see if we were interested in receiving white boards (for free, no less!) to either give away or sell. Since we depend on donations from the public, I thought this would be a great fundraiser. It was a pleasure working with Sara Douglas, who was very enthusiastic about the boards and interested in helping us earn some extra money. She worked hard to get companies to advertise on the boards. The white boards are so cute! We give part of them away with adoptions. We also have them in our little gift shop to sell, and everyone loves them! I also take them to events with me and give them away. They help to get our name out to the public so we can adopt even more animals. If you get a chance to get these cute boards, contact Sara Douglas. She will be more than happy to help you!
